Shipping
All items are shipped in 5-7 business days (or up to 12 business days around holidays) from purchase via USPS, unless otherwise noted. Once the item is delivered to the post office, it is out of our hands. You are responsible for keeping an eye on the tracking, and contacting the post office if an item is lost. If your item arrives in a less than desirable state, please contact us and we'd be happy to fix the issue!
Processing time is the amount of time it may take for your order to be handcrafted and packaged ONLY. Delivery times may vary once shipped.
Since we are a small, 2 person business, sometimes we are not able to get items out by the noted delivery date. Unfortunately things happen that are not within our control and packages may be delayed a day or two.
We gladly accept returns and exchanges on non-cosmetic items. Please read our return policy here. If item is not up to standards, please contact us with images and reasons why the item is less than desired. We want to make sure each person is happy!
Ethically Sourced, Vegan, Cruelty Free!
Our glycerin is vegetable based, and we do not use honey or milk products in our products. We have very carefully vetted all of our suppliers to make sure every ingredient used is up to our standards. Feel free to contact us for more information on our vendors.
Product warnings?
Do not ingest. Use on small area of skin first, if irritation occurs, discontinue use. Keep out of the reach of small children & pets. Read ingredient list carefully as some ingredients may cause an allergic reaction in some individuals. Soap products contain fragrance or essential oils, if you are under the care of a physician please consult before use. If irritation occurs discontinue use immediately. Avoid eye contact.
What do these ingredients mean?
Glycerin: A humectant, meaning it attracts moisture to your skin. During the soap making process, glycerin is made as a natural by-product. Most of the commercial soaps you find in stores have had some of the glycerin removed. Melt and pour soaps have a higher percentage of glycerin, and thus is a lot more moisturizing to the skin than most store bought soaps.
Propylene Glycol: Propylene glycol is a colorless, odorless liquid which is Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). PG is used as a humectant. It is a wetting agent that helps oil based materials mix with water.
Sodium Stearate: Ingredient used in soap making that is a result of using palm oil fatty acids. It is a cleansing agent.
Sorbital: Sorbitalis an ingredient that improves clarity of the soap, and it is also considered a humectants. Sorbitalhas been used in cosmetic products for close to a century and is a Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) product by the United States Food and Drug Administration FDA.
Sodium Myristate: Ingredient used in soap making that is a result of using coconut oil or palm oil fatty acids. It is a cleansing agent.
Triethanolamine: Triethanolamine is used primarily as an emulsifier and surfactant. It also serves as a pH balancer in soap.
Sodium Laurate: Ingredient derived from LauricAcid. It is used as a cleansing agent in soap, and helps to increase lather. LauricAcid is the acid found in coconut oil and palm kernel oil.
Sodium Cocoate: Ingredient used in soap making that is a result of using coconut oil. It is a cleansing agent.
Titanium Dioxide: Titanium dioxide is also known for blocking UV light, and is added to products in our Micas, and there is less than 1% in our products.
